Making your own wet food will ensure healthy digestion as well as a wonderful treat that your kitty will look forward to everyday.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  1. Blender

  2. Canned Pumpkin make sure it does not have added sugar or nutmeg check the ingredients for just pumpkin.

  3. Boneless skinless chicken breast.

  4. ALTERNATAIVE: Is to purchase human baby food /chicken puree w/ chicken broth, these should be the only ingredients to keep it simple. Ratio would be 5 jars of baby food to 1/3 can of pumpkin.

RECIPE:

  • Boil a 3 lb package of chicken when the water has reached a roaring boil turn it off let it cool while sitting on the stove top. Once it has cooled to the touch pour the chicken water into your blender, then tear apart the chicken to make it easier for your blender to liquify and add your pumpkin blend until a nice pudding like texture..

  • 1 can of pumpkin to 3lbs of chicken

  • 1 cup broth to 2 pieces of chicken breast add 1/2 cup of pumpkin and for kittens a tablespoon of canned kitten food. mix these measurements give me the best consistency for our cats and kittens.

HOW TO STORE WET FOOD:

Store the mixture in a container in the fridge for up to 5 days although I doubt it will last that long I feed cats/kittens a heaping tablespoon 2-3 times a day.
