I am thrilled to have the kitties home. the guys working with baggage and where the kitties were brought into the airport from the plane, they told me I was really lucky I got the kittens. They all talked about how cute they were, how they stuck their fingers in thro the wires and played with the kittens. They said they were so cute they would like to have taken them home with them, but of course figured they'd get in trouble. NO KIDDING!!!! Anyway, it was so cute seeing men my age (any age for that matter) gushing over two tiny kittens and saying how they would llike to take them. They sure wern't afraid in any way. It's because of the way they've been raised so far. They've been around lots of other animals, including a dog, a family that is around and interacts with them all the time. I think after they check out the new place, whereever they go, any of your kittens will be well adjusted healthy and happy. At least that's my experience so far.
The kittens have checked out the whole house, which didn't take long since it's so small. I think they will spend a lot of time in my bedroom too. One reason is because this is where all my things are that I do, and they want to be where I am. Also, when one is in any room and doesn't know where the other is, or where I am, that's when they cry for me......as you heard on the phone.....They've played with every toy Ive gotten. Since it's been so long since I've had a kitten, I didn't have toys and the necessary things. I went out and got things. The necessary things, then of course, couldn't come home without getting toys and things I knew they would like. Some things I think I saw in pictures at your house, but also things I've had before that I know kittens, and grown cats like to play with.
They went into the kitty litter, boy like they had been using it forever. I'm glad I got the one with the top on it. It keeps the kitty litter in better. Then the thing I told you I got that is like an area rug on the back (adhesive to the floor texture) and when they get out of the kitty litter box the top side of the area thing gets all the kitty littler that may be on their feet, or whereever. This way there is no litter all over the floor. Sure makes it nicer.
Thanks for all the tid bits of info you have given me. There are lots of little things I didn't know, or tricks I haven't used. And as far as the squirt bottle and sh sh, works very well. They've gotten that down pretty well. Your work has payed off. I've only used the spray bottle a couple of times, The rest of the time just the sound works. Ya trained them well!!! The babies are curled up on my bed by me (I'm sitting on the side of my bed typing this). Anyone who sees them admits that they really do need to be together. They are wonderful company for eachother. Where one is the other one will be. And, the give me lots of love already. The will stand and look up, the put their paws up to be picked up (that's when they can't get up where I am and want to be picked up) So, I pick them up, before letting go I hold them close, scratch behind their ears and stuff, while they purr, then they curl up beside me. The three of us are going to get along wonderfully!!!!I I love them to death already!!
email when ya can, I'll do the same, and send ya pics as they grow. You were right. They are really sweeties!!!
Aloha

Hi Asha...
He is soooo cute, we are absolutely in love with him already. Thanks so much for taking the time to send us pictures, it helps us get to know him even though we are so far away. I know I have said this before but you have done such a great job in calming my fears about buying a kitten that I can't see ahead of time. If you ever have anyone who initially feels like I did, I would be more than willing to tell them what a wonderful experience we have had.
Keri Another note from Keri.. Hey Asha..
I just wanted to e-mail you and tell you how much we really love our new kitten ! He is absolutely adorable, his markings are certainly everything that I had hoped for. More importantly though, he is such a lover! He slept in our bed all night, taking turns sleeping with myself and my husband
(I am sure glad he slept with Chris too because all of our other cats sleep with me and he feels
left out : Cuzco is certainly adjusting to our house (this is the first time we have a kitten in our house, all our other cats grew up in our apartments). We initially tried to keep him gated in our bedroom, closet, and bathroom (because they are all connected) and when he jumped the gates, we knew that he would have to be let into the rest of the house. He did just fine, we walked all around with him and he loves exploring. Our other animals are adjusting well also. It is so funny, our other male (Aztec) absolutely thinks Cuzco is the greatest thing. He never even hissed at the kitten when they were introduced. Now they follow each other around, Aztec batting at the kitten and the kitten running up behind Aztec and going after his tail. One of my females (Inca) wants to play with Cuzco but isn't exactly sure how to yet (she has a very quirky funny personality). My other female, Maya, is still
upset but she has a harder time adjusting to anything new. She was our first cat and was super
spoiled and turned out to be such a brat (don't get me wrong I love her to pieces--she's just one of those cats that touches your heart in such a special way, one in a million animals that you are always thankful for--haha but she is still a brat). Finally, the dogs. Let me preface this by saying, they are a year-old this summer and they are super playful, crazy, always running, lick-everything, at times
out of control dogs. We brought Cuzco over to them last night again (we had earlier but not for long), and they turned into the calmest, most loving, respectful dogs I had ever seen. They did not even
try to lick the kitten ! When the kitten plays in the kitchen the dogs stand frozen in place or walk so slowly around the kitchen inspecting every spot before they put their foot down (I think they are worried they will step on him).
Wow that turned out a lot longer than I had expected (haha sorry for that !). In short, Cuzco is amazing, we love him to pieces already and he sure seems to be pretty happy as well! You did
such a great job and I could never thank you enough!!!!
Keri
P.s. I think my mom is going to get one of your Christmas kittens. She couldn't believe how well adjusted and happy he is, she kept saying that's a sign of a great breeder, and that those kittens are worth every penny!

Hi Asha,
Thanks for making this process so easy for me. I absolutely love my new kittens, and they are the bouncy little cuddle bugs that you made them out to be. I am so grateful for all of the cute pictures along the way to keep me updated with their growth. When I first heard their little meows at the airport, I felt so excited and happy. I knew they were right at home. Thanks so much for taking great care of them!
